abee couldn't make it
thx to his Police Day Parade training
so there i was all alone
haiz

anyways
it was a scary experience
having me laid down
and going through that round machine
for abt 7-10 min

and for the first time ever
i've had this inserted in my delicate veins...


a Heparin Plug for my contrast
what a strange feeling

results of the scan is in a week
so gotta call up the clinic for my next TCU
hopefully no abnormalities were found
up here in my brain

was feeling all hungry
NBM-ed the whole morn juz for the scan
so i picked up mama
ayah tagged along on his bike after work
and headed down to Al-Ameen at Bukit Timah
and for the first time
i had this...

and i liked mama's reaction upon seeing the prata
she said,"heheheh so farni lah.."
she even asked the person who served me
hw to eat the prata
so naive lah u mama

was satisfied

appointment with Dr Shahul 1 week after CT
funny thing
all patients at Clinic E
were all oldies
i'm the only young one there
wahahaha
jee & me can't stop giggling
out of place somehow

for a neuro appointment with Dr Shahul

must thank sister K for her help
in finding earlier 'lobang' for me

kuzzin juli will accompany me there
lucky thing it's her DO today
then maybe if i'm well enough
lets go out sumwhere
getting tired sitting at home nursing this bloody head of mine
shall we boden?

whatever happened in A & E yesterday
i do NOT wish to face it anymore
well, not till it's time for me to give birth dat is
heh

was on my way to work yesterday
on pm shift
was a bit giddy & high while walking to work
had to be strong
but when they're having roll call
the tutorial room spins
still holding back my strength
i took report

sister V was there when she suddenly told me to go A & E
i said its ok
she then forced me to sister's office
and sister K searched high & low for a neuro dr to examine me
but couldn't find any slots
then the decision is final
she told PCA Leela to wheel me to A & E
and told me to get admitted (which i don't want to)

being a Monday afternoon
e huge human traffic was overwhelming
all the more my vertigo added on
then the migrane started
i couldn't explain e pain

while at the Triage
my parameters were taken
was suprised dat my BP was only 85/67 mmHg!
then the nurse said dat i could collapse anytime
hahaha
then she transferred me to trolley
my vertigo got worse
my phone kept on vibrating
with calls & smses from mama, ayah, abee, bibik, juli
i was brought to Critical Care
waited & waited & waited


in Critical Care... Waiting...

the MO came and examine me
waited & waited & waited


me on trolley... waiting...

then only the SN jabbed me with Voltaren & Stemetil
waited & waited & waited
then only the SN brought me to toilet to collect my urine sample
waited & waited & waited
then only a PCA came and did ECG and hypocount on me
waited & waited & waited


my ECG & pricked finger...

the MO came and asked me if i wanna be admitted
OF COURSE i said hell NO!
what, then let me wait & wait & wait till next morn?!
with A & E like a MADHOUSE?!
pls lah...

by the time
mama ayah bibik & cik amat
was already waiting anxiously for me outside
abee was constantly msging me
he's at work & he felt bad cos he's not there for me
sweet huh..

i got 'discharged' from dat hellish place
at exactly 2155hrs!
and while leaving the place
a SN shouted from resus room
"can a doctor pls help? i have 3 new resus cases!!!"
i was REALLY GLAD to be out from there..

now, i'm nursing my head
my vertigo came on & off
hopefully sister K got dat appointment with Dr Alvin from neuro
all the sisters had done a lot for me
thx for all the 'get well soon' msgs
from my colleagues

and abee... u i love!

last night
despite my mabok-ness
and my on & off headaches
my family & i
decided to watch...

sister V forced me to A&E dat dae
was on morn
diagnosed me with migrane headache(huh?)
after jabbing me on e butt but pain's still there
pain in e arse huh..


pls do not take drugs
but if u have to
take lah!

my migrane is so stubborn
didn't go away even after morn n afternoon meds
in fact it got worse
felt like my head's gonna burst
my ears too
dad sent me back to SGH A&E
had slight fever of 37.6 deg
there i go wearing a surg mask
segregated frm the rest

dr wanted to admit me
but i don't find it necessary at all
he referred me to Neuro
and added 2 more 'candies' to my 'candy collection'
tis time strong doses
Neuro appointment will be on 14th June
but met up with sisters in e ward
trying to help me find 'lobang'
for an early slot
thx sisters...

feeling much better nw
but still having e 'heavy' feeling on e right side of my head & ears
hopefully after a gdnight sleep
i'll be well altogether
